Jersey City among top 10 new neighborhoods nationwide
As Jersey City Apartment Owners Association Executive Director Wendy Paul told NJBIZ in a statement “This development didn’t happen by accident.“Jersey City embraced redevelopment decades ago and has actively embraced new housing production ever since. The city’s leaders understand that housing affordability improves when we build more to meet the demand.”

Solomon asks Scutari to change NJDEP’s REAL proposal to aid affordable housing - Hudson County View
“The Jersey City Apartment Owners Association applauds Mayor Solomon’s leadership on the NJDEP’s REAL rules set to take effect this July. The rules as they are currently written place the state’s flood mitigation responsibility on the backs of private homeowners and builders which will dramatically increase the cost of housing construction and potentially stifle new housing starts,” JCAOA Executive Director Wendy Paul said in a statement.

N.J. Supreme Court gives more power to municipalities, puts more onus on developers - BINJE
“The New Jersey Supreme Court has unanimously sided with Not In My Backyard (NIMBY) interests sounding a death knell for housing affordability” Wendy Paul executive director of the Jersey City Apartment Owners Association said. “In fact they are also in disagreement with the will of the legislature that attempted to solve our housing affordability crisis with a landmark law requiring municipalities to improve zoning so towns deliver on the court’s previously required affordable housing mandates under the Mount Laurel decision.”
