Rents Are Cooling in the Middle of Leasing Season — Even in Jersey City, Report Says
In a surprising twist for peak rental season, prices are cooling across much of the country, including in Jersey City, one of the nation’s most expensive markets.
New data from Zumper’s July National Rent Report shows that rents for one-bedroom apartments in Jersey City have dropped 17.8% compared to this time last year. That marks a continued downward trend in a city that, just a few months ago, ranked third.
